Southern Self Storage

Southern Self Storage was the first mini storage warehouse to be built in Louisville. The great tornado of 1974 came thru and destroyed our other business which was the first complete rental yard in Louisville, called Southern Rentals that opened on April one of 1955. After clearing the wreckage we rebuilt as the first mini storage and opened in Nov of 1975. In 1964 we expanded and again in 2009 we have expanded next door and built the new storage units that you see in the picture above. These are different than others in that they have the new wider doors, nine ( 9 ) foot wide and have taller ceilings so they are much easier to move in and out your property items and in the longer units, vehicles can even be stored.
